What should i do to get out of my car loan?

I am less than 6 mos in my car loan and i am not getting enough out of my paycheck and its a bad market for employment for a fulltime or even second job. Im trying almost everything to keep up. Im 23 and Im basically homeless. I know every choice besides selling it outright, virtually everything will effect my credit. But is it worth not being able to afford my Meds for hypopituitary/thyroidism let alone daily necessities? Please I need some advice!
